At least 3 years of practical experience with air handling equipment, HVAC controls, building automation, control wiring, systems integration, or similar BAS platforms such as Siemens, BACnet, or comparable systems. Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or engineering experience within a regulated or procedure-driven environment. Working knowledge of HVAC and facility systems, including chilled water, hot water, air handlers, heat exchangers, pumps, VAVs, compressors, terminal equipment, and related utility systems. Ability to read and apply wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, controls drawings, scopes of work, technical documents, and field work plans. Experience with HVAC controls, BAS, energy management systems, electrical installation practices, code-aware documentation, construction processes, inspections, testing, and small to mid-sized facility projects. Familiarity with field measurement tools and controls-related equipment such as multimeters, air data meters, anemometers, flow hoods, PLCs, VFDs, and similar devices; VFD troubleshooting or programming experience is preferred.
