Job Title: Head of Pharmacy Operations
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Head of Pharmacy Operations to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This direct hire opportunity is based in Brooksville, FL and follows a Hybrid work arrangement after an initial onsite onboarding period. The individual in this role will provide operational leadership for a growing healthcare services environment, driving efficiency, scalability, and performance across core business functions. Success in this position requires strong leadership, process improvement expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Head of Pharmacy Operations:

• Oversee daily operational activities within a pharmacy services environment, ensuring efficient workflows, strong service delivery, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Guide process improvement efforts by implementing operational best practices, enhancing reporting capabilities, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and performance.
• Coordinate workforce planning initiatives, including staffing strategies, employee development, onboarding support, and resource allocation to meet business demands.
• Manage inventory operations, distribution processes, and third party service relationships while supporting cost control and operational effectiveness.
• Lead strategic projects involving technology enhancements, system optimization, business growth initiatives, and operational expansion efforts.

• Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience managing operations within pharmacy, healthcare fulfillment, specialty services, or similar regulated environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of operational metrics, inventory control practices, staffing models, workflow design, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience directing cross functional teams, managing complex projects, and partnering with stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem solving, and leadership abilities with the capacity to drive results in a fast paced setting.
• Ability to work onsite in the Brooksville or North Tampa area, with experience using pharmacy operations platforms, automation tools, multi location oversight, or growth focused business environments preferred.
