Job Title: Decontamination Services Consultant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Decontamination Services Consultant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This contract opportunity is based at client facilities across the United States, with travel currently concentrated along the East Coast and expected to expand to West Coast locations. The work arrangement is Onsite and requires continuous travel to regulated facilities where the consultant will help prepare, execute, and document cleanroom treatment services. This role offers hands on exposure to critical contamination control activities, direct collaboration with client contacts, and the opportunity to manage field assignments independently after completing initial training.
Work Schedule:
Variable, project based, and on call schedule with continuous travel. Assignments may require evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday work, particularly during the peak season beginning in October. Many services are scheduled after facility shutdown and may begin around 10:00 PM. Advance notice for assignments may range from approximately one week to one month, and extended travel is required.
Key Responsibilities of the Decontamination Services Consultant:

• Coordinate the receipt, movement, staging, setup, and removal of specialized equipment and materials at regulated client facilities, including unpacking and rebuilding pallets for shipment.
• Deliver cleanroom treatment services by preparing controlled spaces, confirming ventilation status, securing designated access points, operating equipment, and tracking process conditions.
• Ensure all work complies with approved procedures, detailed checklists, gowning practices, personal protective equipment standards, site requirements, and applicable safety controls.
• Maintain accurate quality, safety, compliance, and project records while gathering required biological and chemical monitoring samples.
• Facilitate effective communication with client representatives, restore work areas following service completion, and progress from guided field instruction to independent project execution.

Qualifications and Skills for the Decontamination Services Consultant:

• At least one year of experience in regulated cleanrooms, pharmaceutical production, controlled environment cleaning, aseptic operations, fumigation, or contamination control.
• Demonstrated ability to follow formal procedures and detailed checklists, complete precise documentation, and apply cleanroom gowning and facility protocols.
• Availability for continuous travel and a flexible schedule that includes overnight assignments, evenings, weekends, holidays, on call requests, and extended periods away from home.
• Ability to safely lift and handle items weighing approximately 40 to 50 pounds, wear required protective equipment, and work independently after completing training.
• Willingness and ability to satisfy site access conditions, including required vaccinations, background screening, and drug testing when applicable.
