Job Title: Pharmacy Tech III
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Tech III to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This onsite contract opportunity in Elizabethtown, PA offers the chance to play an important role in prescription fulfillment, inventory coordination, and operational support within a regulated pharmacy setting. The position works closely with pharmacists and cross functional teams to help maintain efficient workflows, quality standards, and accurate order processing. Candidates who thrive in fast paced environments and bring strong organizational and communication skills will be well positioned for success.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Tech III:

  • Support prescription processing activities by entering order information, preparing medications for fulfillment, and ensuring accuracy throughout the dispensing workflow.
  • Coordinate shipping readiness by organizing, staging, and verifying outgoing orders while maintaining efficient throughput and service levels.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through stock monitoring, replenishment activities, material handling, and adherence to established operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and internal teams to address routine inquiries, gather necessary information, and route clinical questions appropriately.
  • Oversee daily workflow priorities, assist with technician training efforts, promote process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory recordkeeping requirements.
Qualifications and Skills for the Pharmacy Tech III:
  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician registration or licensure required, along with current PTCB certification.
  • High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in a pharmacy or closely related healthcare environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory management practices, fulfillment processes, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with the ability to learn operational software platforms.
  • Strong customer service, communication, analytical, problem solving, organization, time management, and detail oriented skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs regularly.
