Job Title: General Manager
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a General Manager to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This onsite direct hire opportunity in Phoenix, AZ offers the opportunity to lead a growing operation and influence both strategic and day to day business performance. The selected candidate will work closely with leadership teams to support expansion efforts, strengthen operational processes, and drive commercial success. This position is ideal for an experienced business leader who excels in fast paced environments and enjoys building high performing teams while contributing to long term organizational growth.
Compensation:
$150,000 to $200,000 annual base salary, depending on experience
Work Schedule:
Fully onsite with flexibility to support business needs beyond traditional business hours
Key Responsibilities of the General Manager:

• Oversee overall site operations, ensuring business objectives, performance goals, and service expectations are achieved across multiple functional areas.
• Guide the growth and development of management teams by fostering accountability, employee engagement, and a culture of operational excellence.
• Deliver business growth through customer relationship management, market development efforts, and strategic planning that supports revenue and profitability objectives.
• Coordinate operational resources, facility readiness, vendor relationships, inventory oversight, and process execution to support a scalable and efficient operation.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning, financial performance, growth initiatives, and the transition toward broader operational and financial ownership.

Qualifications and Skills for the General Manager:

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing business operations, facilities, divisions, or other large scale organizational functions.
• Proven success driving commercial performance, business development initiatives, customer engagement, and long term organizational growth.
• Experience working within regulated environments with a strong understanding of operational standards, quality requirements, and compliance expectations.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including experience analyzing performance metrics, managing budgets, and supporting or leading profit and loss activities.
• Preferred background in life sciences, pharmaceutical services, laboratory operations, technical environments, facility startups, process improvement initiatives, or Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, with the ability to travel as needed.
