Job Title: General Manager
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a General Manager to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This onsite direct hire opportunity in Tampa, FL offers the chance to lead a growing facility, shape operational strategy, and drive business performance across multiple functional areas. Compensation:
$150,000 to $200,000 annual base salary, depending on experience
Work Schedule:
Fully onsite with flexibility to support business needs beyond traditional business hours
Key Responsibilities of the General Manager:

• Oversee day to day business activities while providing strategic leadership for operational growth, organizational performance, and overall site success.
• Guide the development of a growing workforce by coaching leaders, fostering accountability, and establishing a productive and professional work environment.
• Drive revenue generation through relationship management, market expansion efforts, and effective customer engagement while supporting long term profitability goals.
• Ensure operational excellence by coordinating resources, managing workflows, maintaining business processes, and supporting readiness across all functional areas.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership and cross functional stakeholders to support facility expansion, operational planning, and future financial oversight responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills for the General Manager:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience with responsibility for business units, facilities, divisions, or comparable operational environments.
• Demonstrated success in business development, customer relationship management, commercial strategy, and organizational growth initiatives.
• Experience working within regulated industries and the ability to navigate operational, compliance, and quality expectations.
• Strong financial acumen with exposure to budgeting, business performance metrics, and profit and loss management; direct ownership experience is advantageous.
• Background in laboratory services, life sciences, pharmaceutical operations, technical environments, facility startups, process improvement methodologies, or related industries preferred, with the ability to travel as needed.
