Job Title: Production Planner

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Production Planner to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This direct hire opportunity is based in West Chester, PA and offers an onsite work arrangement. The selected candidate will play a critical role in aligning supply planning, inventory strategies, and production needs to support operational performance and customer fulfillment objectives. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across multiple business functions while contributing to process improvements, data driven decision making, and ongoing operational excellence efforts.

Compensation:
$110,000-$130,000 annual salary plus annual bonus

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, onsite

Key Responsibilities of the Production Planner:

  • Coordinate production and supply planning activities by evaluating forecasted demand, inventory requirements, and material availability to support business objectives.
  • Analyze operational data, develop reporting tools, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness and overall performance.
  • Monitor supplier performance, address potential disruptions, and communicate risks that could impact inventory levels, production schedules, or delivery commitments.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to resolve supply chain challenges, maintain material quality expectations, and support efficient operational workflows.
  • Maintain accurate inventory practices, identify trends and problem areas, and ensure adherence to applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.

Qualifications and Skills for the Production Planner:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, operational planning, continuous improvement, project leadership, or a related field.
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or supervising team members within a planning, operations, or supply chain environment.
  • Working knowledge of regulated operating environments, including quality and compliance standards, along with experience using ERP, MRP, or other planning systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, including spreadsheet analysis, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms.
