Job Title: Credentialing & Enrollment Program Consultant

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Credentialing & Enrollment Program Consultant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This remote contract opportunity is based in Carson City, Nevada and includes travel throughout the surrounding territory to support healthcare operations and provider workforce readiness. The consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, helping strengthen credentialing and enrollment functions while driving process improvements, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with leadership, influence strategic initiatives, and support programs that directly impact organizational performance and service delivery.

Compensation:
$100 to $104 per hour

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard daytime business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Credentialing & Enrollment Program Consultant:

• Guide leadership teams on credentialing, provider enrollment, and operational best practices to support organizational goals and long term workforce readiness.
• Analyze existing workflows and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen compliance, and support measurable performance outcomes.
• Oversee activities related to provider onboarding, credential maintenance, payer participation, and regulatory readiness across multiple programs.
• Facilitate audits, reporting initiatives, and performance tracking efforts while ensuring alignment with applicable healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders to support system optimization, process enhancements, and effective communication across operational teams.

Qualifications and Skills for the Credentialing & Enrollment Program Consultant:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Seven to ten years of experience supporting healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, privileging, or related operational functions.
• Three to five years of leadership, advisory, coaching, consulting, or management experience within a healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of governmental and commercial payer enrollment processes, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and healthcare compliance practices.
• Strong analytical, project management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with experience utilizing credentialing platforms and operational systems; professional certification such as CPCS, CPMSM, or CPES is preferred.
