Job Title: Network HIM Director
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Network HIM Director to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Remote contract opportunity offers the chance to provide strategic leadership across multiple healthcare facilities, helping to strengthen information governance, regulatory readiness, and operational effectiveness. The individual in this role will collaborate with clinical, technology, compliance, and administrative stakeholders while guiding teams through process improvements and system related initiatives. Success in this position requires strong leadership, healthcare information management expertise, and the ability to support organizations experiencing operational and technology transformation.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities of the Network HIM Director:

• Oversee enterprise health information management functions across multiple locations, ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and protection of patient records.
• Guide managers and leadership teams in driving operational consistency, workforce effectiveness, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure organizational adherence to healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, privacy requirements, and documentation governance practices.
• Collaborate with cross functional partners to support information management strategies, record lifecycle processes, and technology enhancement efforts.
• Direct preparation for audits, reviews, and regulatory assessments while monitoring performance metrics, budgets, and departmental goals.

• Active RHIA credential with demonstrated expertise in health information management leadership within healthcare environments.
• Background providing consulting services and leading initiatives across large, complex, multi site healthcare systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare privacy, documentation, coding, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including familiarity with California healthcare regulations preferred.
• Experience supporting electronic health record platforms and organization wide system transitions, with exposure to leading healthcare information systems preferred.
• Strong leadership, change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with the ability to travel routinely to facility locations as needed.
