Job Title: Mold Technician
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mold Technician to join our client to support the upkeep and readiness of critical plastic injection tooling used in daily manufacturing operations. This onsite, direct hire role based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania focuses on maintaining mold performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring production efficiency. The position plays a key role in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and tooling improvement efforts. Candidates will work closely with production and tooling teams in a hands on environment that values precision and reliability.
Compensation:
$20–$25 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Mold Technician:

• Perform scheduled maintenance by disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and reassembling molds to ensure consistent production readiness
• Evaluate mold condition, identify wear or defects, and communicate findings clearly while maintaining accurate service records
• Support tooling repairs and enhancements, including replacing worn components and assisting in root cause analysis for recurring issues
• Prepare molds for production changes and assist with setup activities while maintaining an organized and safe tool room environment
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and basic machine tools while interpreting blueprints to complete precision tasks effectively

Qualifications and Skills for the Mold Technician:

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform detail oriented work involving precision components
• Familiarity with blueprint interpretation and measurement tools used in manufacturing settings
• Experience handling industrial tooling and working in a production or maintenance environment is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and remain active throughout the workday in a manufacturing setting with required protective equipment
• Strong problem solving skills along with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving tooling needs
