Job Title: Contract Dispensing Pharmacist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Contract Dispensing Pharmacist to join our client to support accurate and efficient medication dispensing within a controlled pharmacy setting. This role focuses on ensuring pharmaceutical quality and compliance while collaborating with providers to manage prescriptions and authorizations. The position offers a structured workflow with minimal patient interaction, allowing full attention on dispensing accuracy and regulatory standards. This is a contract opportunity based in Swedesboro, NJ, with a hybrid work arrangement after training.
Compensation:
$62 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Contract Dispensing Pharmacist:

• Oversee medication preparation activities including compounding, filling, labeling, and packaging to maintain accuracy and consistency
• Review and verify prescriptions while coordinating with providers for clarifications, new orders, and refill approvals
• Ensure all dispensed medications meet established standards for quality, safety, and potency
• Maintain adherence to USP guidelines and applicable Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Support internal pharmacy operations and complete additional responsibilities as directed by leadership while working in a non customer facing environment

Qualifications and Skills for the Contract Dispensing Pharmacist:

• Active Registered Pharmacist license in the state of New Jersey is required
• A degree in Pharmacy such as a Bachelor’s or Doctorate is expected, with equivalent foundational knowledge considered
• At least one year of pharmacist experience preferred, though newly licensed professionals are encouraged to apply
• Background in retail pharmacy or similar environments is acceptable and transferable
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow regulatory standards and communicate effectively with healthcare providers
