Job Title: Technical Lead LIMS
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Technical Lead LIMS to join our client to drive the successful delivery of laboratory information management system solutions within a pharmaceutical environment. This remote, long term consulting opportunity focuses on leading system design, guiding implementation efforts, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution. The role blends leadership responsibilities with hands on development to support both new implementations and ongoing system enhancements. You will collaborate with global stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable and reliable LIMS solutions.
Compensation:
$80 to $110 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the candidate’s timezone
Key Responsibilities of the Technical Lead LIMS:

• Lead client engagements by facilitating discussions, gathering requirements, and shaping solution design for SampleManager LIMS initiatives
• Oversee full lifecycle delivery including implementation, configuration, customization, and system upgrades within regulated environments
• Guide and coordinate offshore development teams, ensuring clear communication, task alignment, and quality outcomes
• Provide technical leadership while contributing directly to development activities when needed to support project goals
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, supporting both new system rollouts and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications and Skills for the Technical Lead LIMS:

• Strong experience with SampleManager LIMS, typically gained over five to seven years in technical roles
• Proven ability to lead technical projects while balancing leadership responsibilities with hands on development work
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions within pharmaceutical or regulated industries
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams and client stakeholders
• Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting delivery expectations
