Job Title: Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist to join our client to support the advancement of innovative cell therapy and gene engineering programs. This onsite role in Philadelphia, PA focuses on hands on laboratory research that drives development of CAR T and related immune based technologies. The position plays a key part in generating data, optimizing experimental systems, and collaborating across scientific teams to move programs forward. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long term career growth in a dynamic research environment.
Compensation:
$90,000 – $130,000 annually
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist:

• Execute laboratory research supporting cell therapy development, including immune cell isolation, culture, and functional assay design to evaluate CAR T activity
• Perform advanced flow cytometry and immune profiling to characterize cell populations and generate high quality experimental data
• Design and conduct molecular biology workflows such as cloning, PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, and nucleic acid construct development including plasmid and mRNA design
• Support vector engineering efforts, including lentiviral, retroviral, and AAV production, as well as mRNA delivery using LNP systems
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze results, contribute to study design, and assist with in vivo research activities including mouse model support

Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist:

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a scientific discipline such as biology, immunology, or a related field, with relevant industry experience
• Strong hands on expertise in flow cytometry, molecular biology techniques, and cell based assays
• Experience working with viral vectors or mRNA and LNP delivery systems in a research setting
• Familiarity with immune cell biology, including T cell function, gene editing tools, or translational research approaches is highly valued
• Ability to manage experiments independently, interpret complex data, and work collaboratively in a fast paced laboratory environment
