Job Title: Inside Sales Business Development Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Business Development Specialist to join our client to support revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships through proactive sales engagement. This role partners closely with field sales representatives to manage inbound opportunities, guide customers through product solutions, and drive account expansion. The position plays a key role in delivering responsive service while converting warm leads into long term business. This is a permanent, onsite opportunity based in Malvern, PA.
Compensation:
Base salary around $70,000
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Business Development Specialist:
- Support outside sales representatives by managing inbound inquiries and serving as a primary point of contact for assigned territories
- Guide customers on product selection, availability, order status, delivery timelines, and comparable alternatives
- Convert incoming leads and follow up opportunities into sales while identifying ways to grow existing accounts
- Maintain consistent outreach through quote follow ups, appointment scheduling, and ongoing account communication
- Document activity and manage customer information using CRM, ERP, Excel, and related systems while collaborating with sales leadership to achieve goals
Qualifications and Skills for the Inside Sales Business Development Specialist:
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Excel effectively
- Professional written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
- Demonstrated sales aptitude with a solutions driven and consultative approach
- Ability to learn new products quickly, particularly within medical or healthcare focused environments
- Prior experience in medical device sales, healthcare customer service, clinical roles, or related fields preferred but not required
