Job Title: Production Team Lead
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Production Team Lead to join our client to help drive efficient and compliant clinical supply operations through hands on leadership and process oversight. This onsite, direct hire opportunity is based in Farmingdale, New York and plays a key role in guiding daily production activities in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on team leadership, workflow coordination, and quality driven execution to ensure kits and supplies are delivered accurately and on time. Success in this position directly supports operational performance, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation:
$30 to $40 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Production Team Lead:
• Oversee daily production activities by assigning work, balancing workloads, and guiding production associates and quality inspection staff to meet delivery commitments
• Ensure accurate and timely assembly and fulfillment of clinical supply kits and related materials in a fast paced regulated environment
• Monitor production output, review daily reports, and communicate performance metrics and scorecard results to team members
• Train new hires and support ongoing skill development while managing performance and reinforcing quality and compliance standards
• Evaluate workflows and processes, recommend improvements, support inventory cycle counts, and participate in client audits as a process expert
Qualifications and Skills for the Production Team Lead:
• At least three years of experience in a lead or supervisory role within manufacturing, assembly, or production operations
• High school diploma or equivalent with a background in kitting, pharma packaging, or similar production environments
• Experience working with inventory management processes and KPI driven production goals
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage priorities effectively
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel with exposure to inventory systems such as IDBS or ASID preferred
