Job Title: Quality Control Lead
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Lead to join our client to support day to day quality operations and ensure products entering inventory meet defined standards. This onsite, direct hire role is based in Malvern, PA and plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, compliance with quality systems, and efficient workflow execution. The Quality Control Lead will guide quality staff, oversee inspections and documentation, and act as the primary escalation point for quality related issues. Success in this role directly supports operational reliability and customer satisfaction.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Control Lead:
• Oversee and guide employees performing quality processes, serving as the primary contact for quality issues and daily task prioritization
• Manage incoming shipments and inventory receipts, ensuring purchase orders, documentation, and supplier approvals are verified before acceptance
• Lead inspection activities by determining sampling plans, inspection methods, and tool calibration status to confirm products meet specifications
• Control nonconforming material through rejection, quarantine, rework coordination, transfers, and customer return processing
• Maintain inventory accuracy and quality system compliance by ensuring work instructions are followed and records are properly completed
Qualifications and Skills for the Quality Control Lead:
• Prior experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing, distribution, or regulated environment
• Working knowledge of inspection methods, sampling techniques, and quality management system procedures
• Ability to supervise staff, assign work effectively, and meet operational deadlines
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve quality issues
• Clear communication and organizational skills to manage documentation, work orders, and cross functional coordination
