Job Title: Process Maintenance Tech Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Process Maintenance Tech to join our client to support reliable manufacturing operations through hands on equipment maintenance and technical problem solving. This role focuses on keeping production and packaging systems running safely and efficiently in a regulated environment. The position is based onsite in Seymour, Indiana and offers a contract to hire opportunity for candidates looking to grow within industrial maintenance. Success in this role directly supports plant uptime, safety, and compliance goals. Compensation:
$46,000 to $68,000 annually Work Schedule:
Third shift overnight, Sunday 11:00 PM through Friday 7:00 AM
Training consists of approximately four weeks on first shift before transitioning to third shift Key Responsibilities of the Process Maintenance Tech:
• Support daily plant operations by performing preventive, corrective, and basic predictive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, complete emergency repairs, and assist with equipment installations or system changes
• Document maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders using standard computer tools and email communication
• Partner with production teams and other stakeholders to communicate repair status, equipment needs, and maintenance findings
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by following site safety practices and identifying potential hazards Qualifications and Skills for the Process Maintenance Tech:
• High school diploma or GED required, with an associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred
• Zero to three years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting, ideally within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated environment
• Working knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical systems, hand tools, test equipment, and general maintenance practices
• Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office applications, with exposure to PLCs, VFDs, or machine controls considered a plus
• Strong communication skills, a team focused mindset, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn and expand technical skills
