Job Title: Service Project Engineer
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Service Project Engineer to join our client to support the technical performance and reliability of metrology and cleanroom control systems. In this role, you will help diagnose, configure, and optimize complex DDC and mechanical systems while serving as a remote resource for customer issues. You will collaborate with engineering and service teams to review sequences of operation, interpret data, and ensure systems perform to specification. This position is ideal for a skilled controls professional who enjoys problem solving, customer interaction, and hands on technical work in a dynamic environment.
Compensation:
$85,000 to $95,000 annually
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio

Key Responsibilities of the Service Project Engineer:

  • Support remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of metrology, HVAC, and cleanroom mechanical systems.
  • Program, test, and fine tune DDC platforms and single loop controllers to ensure accurate system performance.
  • Provide online customer assistance by responding to issues related to control systems and mechanical functionality.
  • Partner with engineering to review operational sequences, validate system behavior, and maintain sensor calibration and protocol documentation.
  • Assist the service leadership team with reporting, data interpretation, and certification tasks.

Qualifications and Skills for the Service Project Engineer:

  • Background in DDC and HVAC systems gained through trade school with 5 years of experience or 10 years of industry experience in controls and mechanical system service.
  • Strong ability to navigate, troubleshoot, and adjust DDC and HVAC systems across various platforms.
  • Skilled in diagnosing mechanical issues with HVAC and related components.
  • Effective communicator with solid organizational abilities and proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Customer focused mindset with the ability to work independently or within a team environment.
