Job Title: QC Specialist Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a QC Specialist to join our client to support quality operations within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role ensures that incoming materials, in process components, and finished products meet stringent quality standards to protect patient safety. The QC Specialist will play a key role in maintaining compliance, supporting validations, and partnering with Quality Assurance to drive continuous improvement. This is an onsite, contract to hire position based in Exton PA. Compensation:
$30 to $32 per hour Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, onsite between 7 AM and 6 PM
Key Responsibilities of the QC Specialist:
• Oversee quality checks of incoming materials and product samples, ensuring testing, validation, and vendor documentation meet internal specifications and regulatory expectations.
• Support analytical testing activities, outsourced laboratory coordination, environmental monitoring programs, and validation efforts that impact equipment, processes, and computerized systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with company quality systems, contribute to deviation investigations, and ensure all equipment, logs, and controlled documents remain compliant.
• Partner closely with Quality Assurance to assess results, assist with CAPAs, review batch records, support change controls, and communicate quality trends through KPIs.
• Guide staff through training on quality practices and assist in creating or updating procedures to strengthen compliance.
Qualifications and Skills for the QC Specialist:
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment with strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Ability to manage priorities with urgency, communicate clearly, stay organized, and deliver internal customer support.
• Knowledge of cGMP standards and FDA regulations including 21 CFR Parts 11, 210, 211, and 503B, as well as related USP guidance.
• Capability to train colleagues, troubleshoot issues, and contribute meaningfully to investigations and continuous improvement activities.
• Familiarity with environmental monitoring, validation processes, and quality control testing is strongly preferred.
