Job Title: Mold Maker
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mold Maker to join our client to support the production of high quality machined components used across their manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in transforming technical drawings into precise, finished parts by operating a variety of machine shop equipment. The Mold Maker will contribute to efficient workflow, accurate fabrication, and reliable machinery setup within a hands on, onsite environment. This is a direct hire opportunity based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania.
Compensation:
$30 to $40 per hour based on experience
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a m to 3:30 p m; voluntary overtime unless urgent needs arise

Key Responsibilities of the Mold Maker:

• Produce machined parts by setting up and operating lathes, mills, grinders, and other shop machinery while ensuring components meet precise specifications
• Interpret technical drawings and digital models to plan machining steps, calculate required dimensions, and verify finished tolerances
• Prepare machines for operation by aligning materials, fixtures, and tooling while adjusting controls and inputting machining data as needed
• Inspect completed parts using micrometers and other precision instruments to confirm accuracy and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, organized work area while applying strong knowledge of metal properties, shop math, and machining processes

Qualifications and Skills for the Mold Maker:

• Hands on experience machining components using manual and advanced machine tools
• Strong ability to read blueprints, technical plans, and related documentation
• Solid understanding of trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and applied shop math used in machining
• Familiarity with CAM systems and analytical software used for machining setup and planning
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions while maintaining accuracy and focus
